Georgian Villa - GF
The brief
The ground floor of a Grade II listed Georgian villa in Sevenoaks, sensitively renovated for a family of five. The brief was to respect the character of the building while reflecting the clients’ eclectic style, combining pieces from different eras with new designer finds.
Wheelchair accessibility was integrated throughout, informing layouts, materials and adaptable furniture. The result is a layered, collected home that feels personal and lived in.
“We have been delighted with the work of the Barker Design team, particularly in how they ran the project, steering us painlessly through the process making our ideas a reality, far greater than anything we could have achieved ourselves.”
